This is the universal base unit with Hi Hat rod and the SM9213 Incremental clutch.

Turn any 8mm threaded cymbal post into an X-hat by adding this SM9214 which includes the fine-tuning capability of the 9213 Incremental clutch.

The revolutionary design of the 9213 Incremental clutch incorporates an easy-adjust rubber lever to open, close, or incrementally fine-tune Hi Hat cymbal tension on your X-hat.

Clutch base includes Techlock to lock your top hat in place and heavy-duty, all metal construction means it’s road-ready and will last for years to come.

X-hat base included a round, knurled nut to lock your bottom hat in place.

Now, any cymbal stand or clamp-on boom you have with an 8mm threaded post can be easily turned into a hi-tech X-hat.
