*PLEASE NOTE: This works very well on snare drums with drop-style throw-offs such as DW’s mag throw. On some snares that use side-throws such as a Ludwig P-85 type, if your throw-off lever is close to the bottom of your current counterhoop, you may only be able to use this snare tapa with the snares in the off position.
