The TAMA Soundworks Kapur snare drum is built from seven plies of select Kapur — a heavy Malaysian hardwood with a darker attack and quick decay. This is a robust and balanced, good with all genres of music, with a warm, dry sound that excellent for studio mics. Sounds great when tuned low. Rounded-outer bearing edges, and includes Evans G1 batter head, and a set of TAMA Sound Arc hoops.
