They discovered the perfect ratio of walnut to birch that produced a superior quality of low-to-mid frequency warmth that perfectly complemented the clear attack and higher frequency projection of birch. The sound is familiar, but distinctively different from their sounds of the past.
The Starclassic series continues to be a representation of their collective drum-making passion, wisdom and pursuit to offer refined and differentiated sounds. Starclassic Walnut/Birch defines their commitment to evolve their drum sounds and inspire the contemporary drummer.

YOU GET:

Drum Sizes (depth x dia): 14×22, 8×12, 16×16 floor tom with legs.

Both toms feature die-cast hoops.

Mounted tom features Starcast suspension mount.

12 and 16 have Quick-Lock brackets for quick set-up and tear down.

Bass is virgin – no mount.

Set includes MC69 tom arm/clamp to mount the 12in. tom off of a cymbal stand.

Tom shells are 6mm, 4ply European Birch + 2 inner ply American Black Walnut.

Bass shell is 8mm, 5ply European Birch + 2 inner ply American Black Walnut.

Note: Any stands, snare drum, cymbals, or pedals shown are available but not included.
