Tama's STAR Reserve 6.5 in. x14 in. snare drum is a stellar example of the impeccable, hand-crafted work produced at the Tama Japan drum factory. This extremely limited snare drum consists of a solid 8mm single-ply A-rated Birdseye Maple shell with solid Birdseye Maple internal shell Sound Focus Ring. The drum shell is finish is a hand-rubbed natural oil, an understated finish that allows full exposure to the natural Birdseye figuring. Tama's STAR inlay and a special STAR Reserve plate complete the shell's boutique visual elements. Tama's Die-cast Hoops deliver thick tone with massive projection. Eight tube lugs contribute another classy visual element and enhances an open tonal expression for this solid-ply shell.
Limited to just 5 drums in the USA, this snare is destined to be a treasured drum in any collection.
