Gibraltar SC-BF 2pc White Felt Bass Drum Strips for Dampening

You get 2 strips that are each 2 1/2in. wide and 26in. long.

They are 3/32in. thick.

If you use unmuffled heads this is a tried and true Old School method of dampening your bass drum heads like John Bonham and many others.

Remove your bass head.  Stretch one over the bearing edge near the edge and leave a little bit of each end outside the shell’s edge. Put the head back on and as you slowly tighten the bolts you can carefully pull each end snug so the strip makes full contact with the head.

Experiment with different positioning.  These can be used on toms and snare drums also.
