TAMA Star Walnut Garnet Japanese Sen Burst 4pc Drum Set

TAMA Ultra-thin, hand-crafted superior walnut shells with a uniquely rounded bearing edge that provides maximum vibration transference to the shell. Each drum in the Star series is made one at a time by TAMA’s most elite team of craftsmen at their factory in Seto, Japan. Tom shells are 6 ply Walnut, 5mm thick. Bass Drum shell is 7 ply Walnut 6mm thick.

Drum Sizes (depth x dia): 16×22 Bass Drum, 7×10, 8×12 Toms, 16×16 Floor Tom with Legs. All toms feature die-cast hoops. Mounted toms feature TAMA’s Star Super Resonant Mounting System with new Quick-Lock brackets for quick set-up and tear down. The smartly designed shell hardware imposes minimal vibration dampening.

Floor tom legs are equipped with specially designed feet to absorb downward impact when the drum is struck. Absorbing these “stray” vibrations helps the drum retain its natural resonance, sustain, and response. Bass drum spurs feature a unique 2-piece construction which separates the spur tip from the rest of the spur. This also absorbs impact and allows the drum to vibrate more freely.
