This style, with the shorter downtube, is perfect when paired with a multi-clamp to mount a tom off a cymbal stand.  It’s also a great choice for drum racks.  .

This model has the longer hex arm for a little more reach.

Downtube is 7/8in. diameter and 6in. long.  Hex arm is 5in. long.
